C.E.R.A.A.S.A. stands for Canadian Eastern Regional Alcoholics Anonymous Service Assembly.
It is a three-day service event, held every two years (in odd-numbered years), designed for members of Alcoholics Anonymous (A.A.) in the Eastern Canada region to promote unity, share experiences, and discuss matters affecting A.A. as a whole.
Key details about C.E.R.A.A.S.A.:
- Purpose: To foster the legacies of Recovery, Unity, and Service, and to discuss General Service Conference agenda items.
- Participants: Primarily for General Service Representatives (GSRs), District Committee Members (DCMs), and Area Committee members, though open to all A.A. members.
- Structure: Includes panel meetings, open mic sharing sessions, service presentations, and a business meeting.
- Location: Rotates among the 10 areas in the Eastern Canada region (Ontario, Quebec, and the Maritimes).
- French Name: In French, it is referred to as A.S.T.E.C.A.A. (Assemblée de Service des Alcooliques Anonymes de l’Est du Canada).
