Our next business meeting is Saturday, January 24th , 2026 at 9:00 am at 
St. John’s United Church, 11 Guelph Street, Georgetown, ON.

An AA District Business Meeting is where local groups’ representatives (GSRs) and officers discuss AA service matters, finances, and local needs for a specific geographic district, usually monthly; all AA members are welcome to observe (non-voting) to learn about the service structure, with details (dates, hybrid/in-person links) found on local district websites (like for North Halton/Erin, Mississauga, Toronto) or via your Group’s GSR, focusing on carrying the message and supporting groups. 
What Happens There?
  • Service Updates: Reports from GSRs (General Service Representatives) and officers.
  • Financials: Treasurer’s reports and fund allocation (intergroup, GSO, area).
  • Group Conscience: Discussing issues affecting the district’s groups.
  • Planning: Scheduling, electing officers, and organizing events. 
Who Attends?
  • Voting Members: DCM (District Committee Member), GSRs, Alternate GSRs, District Officers (Secretary, Treasurer, etc.).
  • Observers: Any AA member is welcome to attend, learn, and understand the service structure.
